Buyer guide
Warfaa supplies fermented, sun-dried cocoa beans sourced from Ugandan smallholder farmers to craft chocolatiers, confectionery ingredient brokers and international commodity traders. Share your acceptance criteria, including fermentation, drying, moisture, bean count and defect limits, so the commercial team can review a suitable offer. Any test results or supporting documents must be agreed and verified for the offered lot.
Availability, minimum order quantity, price, lead time and destination documents are confirmed for each enquiry. Browse our export sourcing, packaging and logistics services, or request a cocoa quotation.
Buyer questions
Export contracts commonly set a maximum moisture content of about 7.5% so beans stay stable in storage and transit. Warfaa confirms the moisture limit, measurement method and supporting results for each lot against your contract.
Lots are sourced from Ugandan smallholder farmers and can be traced to their sourcing area. Flavour depends on fermentation and drying, so request samples if you are evaluating cocoa for single-origin or fine flavour chocolate.
Uganda is landlocked, so sea-freight cocoa normally moves by road or rail to the port of Mombasa. Quotations can be requested on terms such as FOB Mombasa or CIF to your destination port; the agreed Incoterm, shipment window and documents are confirmed in your contract.
Do not assume certification from the catalogue. Organic or Fairtrade cocoa is offered only where a valid certificate covers the lot, so include certification and traceability requirements, including any EU deforestation due-diligence data, in your enquiry.
